Scott Lothery was born and raised in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago. After hearing the good news about Jesus in college, Scott put his faith in Christ and experienced the transformational power of God. He was baptized in a local church and immediately sensed the Lord’s call to help people live a “good news life” - a life motivated and guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Scott has lived out that call in a broad variety of ministry roles, serving as a missionary, church planter, denominational superintendent, solo pastor of a small church, senior pastor of a medium sized church, executive pastor of a large church, and lead pastor of a multi–site mega church. He is currently the Senior Pastor of Living Faith Christian Church in Farmingdale, NY. Throughout the entirety of his vocational life, Scott has studied how the message of Jesus cultivates the virtue of God in human beings, earning both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.

Scott is married to Cindy, the love of his life and very best friend. They have four adult children, Alyssa, John, Matt, and Ben, and one granddaughter, Savannah, born to Alyssa and her husband Patrick Hardy.
